The Marvel Snap Pool 2 is full of versatile cards that players can use to build the foundation of a strong meta deck.
Every deck on this Marvel Snap Pool 2 tier list is full of versatile cards that can easily be used once players reach Pool 3. These are great decks to build a foundation and become more competitive with.
- S Tier: Sunspot Control, Apocalypse Discard, Heimdall Movement
- A Tier: Sandman Ongoing, Nova Destroy
- B Tier: Professor X Control Deck, Jubilee Control
These decks can only be built using cards from Pool 2. If you’re still starting out and in Pool 1, there are plenty of great beginner decks to get you started.
S-Tier Pool 2 Decks
Sunspot Control Deck
- Sunspot
- Agent 13
- The Collector
- Cable
- Sentinel
- Jubilee
- Jessica Jones
- Moon Girl
- White Queen
- Devil Dinosaur
- Odin
- The Infinaut

The Sunspot Control is one of the most consistent decks for climbing the ladder. Your main plays here are Sunspot, The Collector, Devil Dinosaur, and The Infinaut.
Ideally, you’d want a combination of either Sunspot + The Infinaut or The Collector + Devil Dinosaur in your hand to start building around them.
With Sunspot, you can build up his points with Turns 2 and 3. If you run into Killmonger a lot, change out Cable for Armor. On Turn 4, use Jubilee or Jessica Jones. Skip Turn 5, and finish off with The Infinaut. It’s a pretty straightforward approach.
If you play The Collector, you can use cards like Cable, Sentinel, Agent 13, and Moon Girl to build up its power. Finally, play Devil Dinosaur on Turn 5, then use either Moon Girl or Odin on Turn 6. With Odin, you want to play him in the same location as any cards that make you draw.
Apocalypse Discard Deck
- Sunspot
- Ice Man
- Blade
- Angela
- Morbius
- Swarm
- Bishop
- Nakia
- Lady Sif
- Sword Master
- Apocalypse
- Odin

The Apocalypse Discard Deck strongly emphasizes the Morbius and Apocalypse partnership. If you play Morbius by Turn 2 and have Apocalypse in your hand, your chances of winning are very high.
Play Morbius and use Blade, Sword Master, and Lady Sif to build his strength. In the process, you’re bound to discard Apocalypse at least once or twice. This allows him to build his power for a strong Turn 6.
Even if you cannot draw Apocalypse, players can still use Odin to trigger the Discard effects of Blade, Sword Master, and Lady Sif a final time.
This guarantees a win in Morbius’s location, and having Blade, Lady Sif, Blade Master, and Odin in one location is pretty hard to beat.
Once you’ve pulled some Pool 3 cards, you’ll be able to use stronger decks featuring Coleen Wing, Hell Cow, and Gambit.
Heimdall Movement Deck
- Iron Fist
- Nightcrawler
- Forge
- Kraven
- Multiple Man
- Cloak
- Doctor Strange
- Vulture
- Hulk Buster
- Vision
- Heimdall
- America Chavez

This Heimdall Movement Deck is a great start for any player looking for variety in their play style. Use Iron Fist, Cloak, Doctor Strange, and Heimdall to move your cards around to boost their power.
Kraven can easily build 8+ power due to his ability, and Vulture is another card that can easily increase its potential. It’s a great deck to slowly build power and overwhelm your opponent in the final turn.
Those are all the S-Tier Decks, but if you’re looking to break through the meta, you may want to go with a Zabu Deck featuring the Savage Land Season Pass.
A-Tier Pool 2 Decks
Sandman Ongoing Deck
- Ant-Man
- Iceman
- Korg
- Nightcrawler
- Ebony Maw
- Angela
- Lizard
- Sandman
- Ka-Zar
- Blue Marvel
- Klaw
- Spectrum

This Sandman Ongoing Deck allows you to take control of the battlefield and force your opponent to sacrifice some of their stronger plays. Ideally, you want as many cards on the board before Sandman appears.
This allows you to keep building your power with Blue Marvel and Spectrum in Turns 5 and 6. Sandman allows you to control the pace of the battle and forces your opponent to stick to one card each turn, no matter what.
If you fail to pull Sandman, a final sequence of Ka-Zar, Blue Marvel, and Spectrum is enough to overturn almost any match.
Once you pull cards from Pool 3, you’ll be able to build out some of the meta Ongoing Decks in Marvel Snap.
Nova Destroy Deck
- Nova
- Angel
- Bucky Barnes
- Carnage
- Mister Sinister
- Wolverine
- Killmonger
- Sabretooth
- Shang-Chi
- Enchantress
- Hobgoblin
- America Chavez

Usually, having your card destroyed would spell defeat in most games. Thankfully, in Marvel Snap, it’s another powerful tool players can use to build power plays.
Nova is a crucial card in this deck because it gives all cards +1 power when it’s destroyed. This can change the game’s tide, especially in Turns 4 and 6, when you already have many cards on the board.
It’s great to know the difference between Discard and Destroy since they affect cards differently in Marvel Snap.
B-Tier Pool 2 Decks
Jubilee Control Deck
- Sunspot
- Iceman
- Scorpion
- Armor
- Storm
- Captain America
- Jubilee
- Jessica Jones
- Spider-Woman
- Odin
- America Chavez
- The Infinaut

Jubilee shines in Pool 3, but it’s always great to start messing around with her deck in Pool 2, so you have a good idea she works.
This deck is about controlling the match’s tempo and disrupting your opponent. Iceman, Scorpion, Storm, and Spider-Woman can all catch your opponent by surprise and even ruin some of their plays.
If any of your high-power cards aren’t in your hand, it is possible to pull them with Jubilee in Turn 4. Seeing The Infinaut pop out after a Jubilee play is a great feeling.
