3. RAAL MG
The RAAL MG is still effective for long-range combat in Warzone 2, but it got a pretty huge nerf in the Season 2 Reloaded update, dropping it to third place in our list of best LMGs.
This is the best RAAL MG loadout to use:
- Muzzle: XRK Kraken – Unlocked at SP-X 80 Level 11
- Barrel: 21″ EXF Rhino Barrel – Unlocked at RAAL MG Level 9
- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser – Unlocked at EBR-14 Level 10
- Optic: Schlager 3.4x – Unlocked at RAPP H Level 12
- Underbarrel: SA Side Grip – Unlocked at RAAL MG Level 19

2. RPK
Following the Season 2 Reloaded update, the RPK is viable in Warzone 2 again. Even if it isn’t dominating like it used to, it is still one of the best LMGs thanks to its faster reload speed.
Here’s the meta RPK build for Warzone 2:
- Muzzle: Lockshot KT85
- Optic: Schlager 3.4x
- Stock: Heavy Support Stock
- Underbarrel: Edge-47 Grip
- Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity

The Sakin MG38 is the best LMG in Warzone 2 due to its high damage, and low recoil, but a nerf in the Season 2 update decreased its damage at long range. Its reload speed is also very slow, so make sure to select Fast Hands in your custom Perk Package!
