Where to Find the Best Greatswords in Elden Ring

If you’re a fan of a Greatsword, we’ve got a few options for you in Elden Ring!

Starscourge Greatsword

First things first, we’ve got a guide to help you find and beat General Radahn here! Then, it’s time to claim his Greatsword for your own.

Starscourge Greatsword Elden Ring

Take your new Remembrance of the Starscourge to the Roundtable Hold and give it to Enia, by the Fingers. In exchange, you’ll be able to claim the Starscourge Greatsword.

With its unique ability, Starcaller Cry, you’ll be able to use the weapon to pull enemies in before completely eviscerating them. And if you upgrade the Starscourge Greatsword, you can get it to a B scaling grade in Strength too!

Marais Executioner’s Sword

For Marais Executioner’s Sword, you’ll need to have reached Altus Plateau. In the region to the North, you’ll encounter The Shaded Castle.

Here, an optional boss ‘Elemer of the Briar’ lies in wait, holding your new sword. And while we don’t have a boss guide for you just yet, they shouldn’t give you too much trouble.

Marias Executioner's Sword Elden Ring

Simply upgrade your Spirit Ash Summons to have a solid distraction for Elemer to deal with. You should even have the Mimic Tear Summon by now, which makes life a lot easier.

Marais Executioner’s Sword has a unique skill, Eochaid’s Dancing Blade, allowing you to throw your Greatsword forward, spinning in a corkscrew attack. Picking up and upgrading this weapon is well worth your time.

Gargoyle’s Greatsword

The Valiant Gargoyle boss fight is one of the most annoying battles in Elden Ring. But the rewards are worth the effort.

Here’s how to get to Nokron, the Eternal City in Elden Ring to encounter the optional boss. From there, you’ll need to find Siofra Aqueduct, dropping down from the Aqueduct-Facing Cliffs Site of Grace and following the path to the end to encounter the boss fight.

Gargoyle's Greatsword Elden Ring

The Gargoyle’s Greatsword scales with a C in strength right off the bat, and comes with a special skill: Vacuum Slice. This ability allows the user to launch forward a blade-like projectile that acts like a vacuum, and it’s particularly nasty to come up against.
