There are nine named POIs in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, with each one offering its own advantages. However, there are four that stand out above the rest as the best places to land:
- Brutal Bastion
- Mega City
- Kenjutsu Crossing
- The Citadel

Brutal Bastion is a great spot to pick up high-tiered loot while also taking out a few opponents in the process. It’s a heavily targeted area, so be prepared for some resistance.
Similarly, Mega City is a high-risk, high-reward location. As it is the popular new POI in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, there’s plenty of loot to be found, but also a lot of players dropping there.
Kenjutsu Crossing is a little quieter than Brutal Bastion and Mega City, so it tends to have less powerful loot. However, you’re guaranteed to find the brand-new and overpowered Kinetic Blade melee weapon there.
Finally, The Citadel is a reliable place to drop as it often offers up powerful weapons from the get-go. It’s typically a hot spot for other players to land, but its sheer size makes it easy to drop in and sneak out without being seen.
Of course, if these landing spots don’t work for you, why not land near the loot-filled capture points to reap some seriously powerful rewards?
Alternatively, you can search for the Golden POIs. They will give you a greater chance of getting the best loot.

Best Trios Landing Spots in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2
They say all good things come in threes, and that couldn’t be more true in Fortnite. Taking on Chapter 4 Season 2 with two other buddies is fun, but make sure to drop at this landing spot if you want to survive:
- Mega City

Mega City is a densely packed POI with a capture point and a lot of enticing loot. However, its popularity with other players means you’ll need to coordinate with your friends to safely navigate it and get out of there alive.
Of course, it’s also a great place to search for the brand-new and very fast Rogue Bikes, which can help you and your team get out of Mega City with all your loot quickly.
The Best Squads Landing Spots in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2
Of course, if you’re thinking of playing in Squads, then you may want to consider some of the more open, yet loot-heavy locations in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, such as the following two fantastic POIs:
- Mega City
- Brutal Bastion

Mega City offers a good range of outdoor streets and multi-story interiors that are equally filled with impressive loot. Slowly scouring each building and street for loot is paramount if you and your team want to survive.
Otherwise, you can try Brutal Bastion, as it too features a strong selection of loot-filled outdoor and interior locations. Having those extra teammates help you spot enemy snipers will ensure your survival while exploring this POI.
Best Landing Spots for Zero Build in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2
If you don’t like building in Fortnite and want to play the Zero Build mode, then don’t panic, as Chapter 4 Season 2 caters to that. In fact, there are two great POIs you should land at if you’re playing in Zero Build:
- Mega City
- Lonely Labs

Mega City is a great location to explore if you don’t want to build, as it offers plenty of buildings to search that have easily accessible loot and great defensive spots. It’s definitely the best place to drop if you don’t want to worry about the need to build.
Similarly, Lonely Labs offers small structures with all of its best loot available to players who don’t want to build. You may have to search every room, but you won’t need to build to reach out-of-the-way locations.
Best Landing Spots for Battle Royale in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2
The best landing spots if you’re playing the classic Battle Royale mode in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 are the ones with plenty of space for you to build over your opponent. These include the following POI:
- Frenzy Fields

Frenzy Fields is great as it’s essentially one giant open field with a couple of buildings scattered throughout. There is a lot of space for you to build in and get the advantage over your opponents.
Once you’ve enjoyed a few games of Fortnite at the best landing spots, why not check out the brand-new Attack on Titan outfit coming to Chapter 4 Season 2?
What Are Golden POIs in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2?
Golden POIs take existing POIs and add significantly more loot to them as well as Supply Drones. They change every game and are completely randomized.
You can spot them on your map by looking for the POIs with golden text. However, be warned as these locations are often swarmed by players early on.
If you’re looking to pick up good loot early on, then you should consider dropping at these locations. At the very least, if you’re looking for a challenge, then the Golden POIs are for you.
