Top Landing Spots in Fortnite Chapter 3

One of the new chromed locations in the latest season of Fortnite, Shimmering Shine, is a great landing spot as it has plenty of the new Chrome loot. It is also a top spot to get some kills early.
It’s worth noting that Shimmering Shine will be a hot spot for enemy players to land. However, since Herald’s Sanctum is right next to this POI, many players will be split between the two, with this one being the easier option.
While you’re here, make sure to pick up some of the new Chrome Splashes in Fortnite.
Herald’s Sanctum will be one of the hottest locations to land in during this season, thanks to having The Herald as a boss, but also due to the high amount of rare loot that can be found.
You’ll have to survive not only many enemy players but The Herald herself. That means you’ll need to be prepared when you land. Nonetheless, if you can outlive your competitors, landing here will certainly be worth your time.
This is also a great time to see the villain of this season before you unlock The Herald skin in Fortnite.
While the Reality Tree has shed its leaves for Fall, this POI is still a great spot to land. It’s even better now that it isn’t the highlight of the season.
Much of the action will be on the other side of the map, but the Reality Tree will still have some enemies to fight. Also, you’re close to many great POIs if you land here, such as Tilted Towers or Greasy Grove.
Chrome Crossroads has replaced Coney Crossroads with the latest update. Now, Chrome is seeping into this small town, with some buildings taking to the sky to avoid it.
Previously, this location was a quieter one, and now, it will be a hotspot to land for the foreseeable future. But don’t let that fool you, this is still a great spot to start with.
Chrome Crossroads is split between buildings on the ground and the sky, meaning there’s a lot of verticality for firefights. We recommend you take one of the floating buildings.
Tilted Towers is a classic spot to land, and for good reason. Since Chapter 1, this POI has been home to high-octane battles, lots of bullets flying, and plenty of amazing loot to get your hands on.
It isn’t as popular as it used to be. However, Tilted Towers is one of the best locations to land at, both for nostalgia and for those early fights that make every match exciting.
We’ll be sure to update this article whenever POIs are updated during the season, as well as when a new season begins.
