The Diamatti is considered one of the best secondaries to have in both Warzone and Cold War multiplayer. Here are two of the best classes for the Diamatti, including akimbo!
The Diamatti has recently been referred to by the Call of Duty community as the Renetti 2.0.
- Best Diamatti Class in Cold War
- Best Diamatti Class Setup For Warzone & Rebirth Island.
- Diamatti Akimbo in Warzone
It boasts an amazing damage profile coupled with a decent effective damage range. On top of that, a three-round burst, easily makes this the best pistol to have at your side in multiplayer.
Here is how to set it up.
Best Diamatti Class in Cold War
These 5 attachments have been hand-picked to make the Diamatti Work as both a primary and a secondary.
- Optic: Quickdot LED
- Muzzle: SOCOM Eliminator
- Barrel: 7.2" Reinforced Heavy
- Magazine: Fast Mag
- Handle: Airborne Elastic Wrap
7.2" Reinforced Heavy
To start off this class set up is the 7.2" Reinforced Heavy Barrel increasing the effective damage range by 30% from 21.5 meters, up to 28 meters.
The 7.2" Reinforced Heavy Barrel will also increase our muzzle velocity, just in case we start to stretch out those ranges.
On the other hand, this barrel will decrease our sprinting movement speed by 4% and our aim walking movement speed by 15%.
We will have to go loud and proud for this class set up with the SOCOM Eliminator.
As the pistol class does not offer any "underbarrel" attachments. The best way to keep the Diamatti in check is with the SOCOM Eliminator.
This decreases our vertical recoil control by 17%, keeping that muzzle down and assuring all three rounds hit the mark.
The SOCOM Eliminator also offers a boost to our muzzle Flash Concealment by 85%, letting our radar signature disappear in just 1/8th of a second.
This attachment will also increase our horizontal recoil control by 10%. On the other hand, it will decrease our shooting movement speed by 10% as well.
Airborne Elastic Wrap
Next on our list is the Airborne Elastic Wrap increasing our aim down sight time by 30% from 225ms down to a blitzing fast 157ms.
The Airborne Elastic Wrap will also give us a 90% flinch resistance boost.
However, it will decrease our shooting movement speed by yet another 10% and increase our sprint to fire speed by 15%.
We will be using the Fast Mag for a straight forward 20% increase to our reload speed.
For our last attachment, we are going to be using the Quickdot LED.
The Diamatti's iron sights are perfect at close range.
However, if we want to engage anything past point-blank range, an optic is preferred. The Quickdot LED is perfect for that.
This offers no level of zoom and minimal peripheral obstruction to keep us aware of our surroundings.
This Diamatti class set up is ready to be a trusted sidearm in clutch moments. However, do not underestimate its power to be a close-range primary weapon.
If kitted out correctly, this small Italian pistol can go head to head with any submachine gun in Cold War.
Best Diamatti Class Setup For Warzone & Rebirth Island.
When using the Diamatti in Warzone, these attachments work so well together that there is no other way you should build it.
The best 5 Diamatti attachments in Warzone:

Diamatti Dual Wield
Enter the star of the show, the Dual Wield attachment. Unlocked all the way at Level 35 or the max level for this pistol.
The Dual Wield attachment is imperative to make this class set up work.
Since it cuts down the time to kill of this weapon in Warzone by half, therefore, it is worth the grind.
The Dual Wield attachment tends to throw some conventional "rules" out the window, like aim down sight time and adding optics to the weapon.
The usual downsides to the following attachments wil not have an effect because of the Dual Wield addition.
Out of the two offerings for suppressor available on the Black Ops Cold War weapons, we usually tend to go with the latter.
The best class set up for the Diamatti is not excluded from this trend.
For our next attachment, we will be using the Agency Suppressor.
The Agency Suppressor will keep us off the radar with a 100% muzzle flash concealment, and it will also give a minor boost to our effective damage range.
This will come at a negligible cost of aim down sight time and aim walking steadiness.
6.5" Takedown Barrel
At the center of this Italian design is the 6.5 Takedown Barrel, increasing our effective damage range by 60%.
This goes from 21.5 meters all the way up to 34.5 meters.
This barrel is a must for this class set up. We will not be able to aim down sight, so we must extend our range as much as possible.
The 6.5 Takedown barrel will come at the cost of a 5% decrease to our sprinting move speed.
Swat 5mw Laser Sight
With this Diamatti class set up, aiming down sight is not an option. Therefore, we need the best of the best in hip-fire accuracy.
To that end, we will be opting out for the Swat 5mw Laser Sight.
Thus, increasing our hip-fire accuracy by 35%, allowing us to get all three shots on target repeatedly and consistently.
The Swat 5mw Laser Sight will also increase our aim down sight time (negligible).
Salvo 30 RND Fast Mag
We are going all out for this class set up and to state our close quarter combat superiority is the Salvo 30 RND Fast Mag.
With a 100% increase to every single magazine's ammo count.
From a measly 15 rounds all the way up to an "Assault Rifle-Esque" 30 rounds.
The Salvo 30 RND Fast Mag will come with a 25% increase to our aim down sight time (negligible).
Diamatti Akimbo in Warzone
The DMR 14 Meta is cool, but the Diamatti absolutely shreds at close range.
If we go back just a few short months, the best secondary for Warzone was the Renetti back in Modern Warfare's Season 3.
After just a short month of being on top of the secondary meta, they were nerfed into oblivion by the developers over at Infinity Ward.
However, Treyarch's new entry in the Call of Duty franchise has seen its fair share of "broken" weapons.
Once the integration happened at the start of Black Ops Cold War's Season 1, players quickly noticed a shift in the meta.
Warzone is no longer dominated by the Grau 5.56 or the Kilo 141. A new meta took hold, that being the DMR 14 and the Mac-10.
Under that confusion, this hidden pistol snuck in and stole the show.
The Diamatti is capable of putting a full armoured enemy down with just 12 bullets.
Nevertheless, this mighty pistol is a 3 round burst. Therefore, it only takes 4 pulls of the trigger.
Dominating the CQB combat within Warzone is the Diammtti but with a twist... AKIMBO! Add Akimbo, and the Renetti 2.0 is born.
These 5 attachment are the recipe for the best Diamatti class set up, and there is no doubt about it.
Boasting best in class hip-fire accuracy, Warzone compliant sound suppression, and 30 round mags to sort multiple armoured enemies.
You simply can't go wrong with this class set up.
This class from 0 to 30 meters has the fastest time to kill.
No shotgun, no Submachine Gun, Nor an assault rifle can win a gunfight against this Diamatti class set up at close range.
The best part is that it does not cost a perk slot like running to primaries with overkill.
There you have it; The finite Diamatti class for either Black Ops Cold War's multiplayer or Warzone.
Equipping this class set up to any of your already exiting loadouts will make that Warzone win easy than ever, and your kill-streaks in multiplayer go through the roof!
TIP: We have noticed that alternating fire between left and right when using the Dual wield attachment increased the hip-fire bloom's resetting time.
Therefore, when you use the dual wield Diamatti shoot both pistols at once allowing the fire bloom to reset for maximum accuracy.
If you're still working your way through the levels, here's how to rank up fast in Black Ops Cold War.
