PS5 scarcity is still as real as the first month the console launched. Even after a whole year in the market, Sony’s successful console is still immensely hard to find.
According to sales data, PS5 is officially the fastest-selling console in Sony’s history.
To get this console, many gamers have camped outside stores and spent hours on online restocks.
Some are fortunate enough to leave a store or close their browsers after a restock with a PS5. However, others have waited over a year without success.
Today, some lucky PlayStation fans reported success after getting a PS5 console at their local Best Buy.

Best Buy Sells Some PS5 Stock In-Store
According to reports, Best Buy restocked PS5 units in-store and allowed some walk-in purchases.
These reports were shared by LordOfRestocks, a prominent restocks tracker. Some PS5 Console Disc version units were sold in-store at Best Buy as per recent reports.
Thus far, Best Buy has not offered any in-store PS5 restocks. This situation might be an isolated case, not a change in its restock policy.
Although, if you are looking for a PS5 console, do not hesitate to pay a visit to your local Best Buy and ask if they have restocked PS5 consoles.
If so, ask if they could sell you one of the units in their inventory.

Fans Check for PS5 Stock at Their Local Best Buy
Some players tried this method, but unfortunately, their local stores did not sell their stock.
Best Buy in Florida will not sell the PS5’s they have in stock and neither will target. I spoke to managers at each store today. They are insisting they can’t ring them up has to be dropped from corporate and will be at some point. Only way to get them is act on the drop & pay.
