Battlefield 2042 fans are signing online petitions to get refunds after the announcement of the Season 1 delay.
Battlefield 2042 is once again having to face a considerable amount of users requesting refunds. Since the game launched, fans criticized this entry in the franchise.
One of the main concerns fans raised was the inclusion of Specialists in Battlefield 2042. This new mechanic received negative feedback, and fans now demand Specialists to be removed from the game.
In addition to this problem, many technical issues are going on. EA and DICE have stated solutions for most of these matters are coming.
Unfortunately, the patience of some gamers has already depleted, and Battlefield 2042 refund petitions are already gaining traction online.
Battlefield 2042 Online Refund Petitions Gain Relevance After Season 1 Delay
Gamers have started signing several Change.Org petitions requesting Battlefield 2042 refunds on all platforms.
Several players created these petitions some weeks ago. Although, now that EA delayed Season 1, these petitions started gaining traction again.
Some of these Change.Org petitions already have hundreds of gamers’ signatures. After the announcement of the Season 1 delay, fans started requesting refunds.
Nonetheless, each platform has its own rules for refunds. For this reason, after some determined amount of playtime, many fans are no longer eligible for refunds.
The petitions outline how EA did not fulfill many promises made before launch. Also, fans complain about the game’s current state, referring to it as “poorly made.”
Battlefield 2042 is offering Gold and Ultimate players free skins and a bundle to deter players from abandoning the game.
EA promised some improvements coming soon. For instance, the developer announced map design changes are coming to get rid of the empty space.
Some other changes fans have waited for are coming. EA stated voice chat support is coming to Battlefield 2042, but only after the March update.
Many fans already believe this is too little too late and have abandoned the game. Many players cannot find games in some slow hours of the day as servers lie empty.
It is uncertain if EA and DICE can turn this ship at this point. Season 1 delay negatively impacted the already shrinking community that is still backing up the game.
Hopefully, fans will get the Battlefield 2042 experience they want and have been patiently waiting for soon enough.
