It appears that Battlefield 2042 has audio issues already, as players are disappointed with the game sounds in Early Access.
Battlefield 2042 is finally here, and with it comes the release of the second of 2021’s most anticipated shooters. According to rumors, Halo Infinite could release as soon as next week!
The Early Access for the game is now underway and fans are able to jump into DICE’s latest FPS title. But there are a few aspects of the gameplay that have immensely disappointed players and fans of the franchise.
But this isn’t the first issue plaguing the game. Players have also reported low FPS in Battlefield 2042 despite running the game on high-end PCs. This isn’t super surprising as even this Battlefield 2042 trailer has frame-drops!
And there’s one crucial feature in Battlefield 2042 that’s sparking uproar among players.
Battlefield 2042 Audio Issues
Battlefield 2042 has only been out for a few hours and already fans are already complaining about low audio in the game.
Even though the game’s performance is substantially better than the Beta, Battlefield 2042 isn’t without its flaws. Reddit user ‘misterkhan101’ took to Battlefield 2042’s subreddit to express their issues with the game.
“I’m playing on ps5 and I have my headset turned all the way up which I rarely do and I can still barely hear anything. Everything is just muffled and mixed so low. I don’t see this mentioned in the known issues and I think it should be one of the top priorities to get fixed.”
The post quickly saw other players coming in agreement and sharing their experience with the same issue with one player claiming that this might be the “worst sounding” Battlefield title ever.
While game performance issues might be solved by making use of Battlefield 2042’s best settings for FPS and performance, it is unclear when the audio issues will be resolved.
Players were also seen reporting another game bug earlier this week.
