Battlefield 2042: After A Month Players Continue Demanding A Scoreboard

Battlefield 2042 players continue requesting an essential feature in the game after over a month from its launch, the scoreboard.

Battlefield 2042 was a complicated launch this 2021. We are in the last hours of 2022, and the situation with this title has barely moved to a positive outcome.

Thus far, gamers still complain of the current state of the game. Players have lost so much interest in the game that some are quitting due to the long matchmaking times.

EA and DICE have addressed the community several times. Although, after several updates, the game still suffers from many technical issues and a lack of features players request.

After more than a month since the release date, players continue requesting the scoreboard be added in Battlefield 2042.

Battlefield 2042 Players Demand a Leaderboard in the Game

Battlefield 2042 launched over a month ago, and players are still requesting for a scoreboard to be implemented in the game.

The Battlefield franchise implemented this feature in most of its previous entries. Due to this, it was surprising for fans to see that the scoreboard was an omission in Battlefield 2042.

Furthermore, fans demanded the inclusion of a scoreboard in Battlefield 2042 since the game was in early access.

EA and DICE addressed this situation, although their response was not what everyone expected.

The developer stated these are ‘legacy features.’ For this reason, the inclusion of a scoreboard in Battlefield will take some time.

EA provided this response a few days after the game was released. Since then, there has been no news about this feature’s progress, if any.

Considering the competitive nature of Battlefield 2042, it is very odd that the developer dropped the scoreboard from the title.

Aside from the leaderboard, this is not the only feature players demand in Battlefield 2042.

Gamers have clamored for a voice chat option in-game. The combination of these two missed elements in a competitive title like Battlefield has not bold well its fans.

The discontent is such that many players believe Battlefield 2042 should go free-to-play to save the game.

Recently, an image of Exposure, a new map, leaked, but it is uncertain if this upcoming content will be enough to keep layers interested in the game.

If you continue playing Battlefield 2042, here are all the ways players can mini-map spot you!

I won't be purchasing BF2042 or any other "COMPETITIVE" shooter without a scoreboard. This seems like a huge oversight of which someone should have lost their job over.

Nice article. "FANS DEMAND" and then uses tweets to support the premise with no more than 2 "likes". SMH

This is hogwash that doesn't meet 5th grade journalistic standards.Just because 4 people want something does not make it a "movement".
