Battlefield 2042 Players Demand A Voice Chat Feature

Battlefield 2042 players are tired of not being able to communicate with randoms, and they are demanding a voice chat feature in the game.

Saying that Battlefield 2042 had a rocky launch is an understatement. Gamers pointed out many issues with the game even when it was in its Beta stage.

Some of these concerns were addressed shortly by DICE and EA. Unfortunately, many of the problems players voiced are still ongoing issues or pending features.

The situation with this title is so dire that Battlefield V surpassed Battlefield 2042’s player count on Steam.

Out of these pending features, voice chat is one of Battlefield 2042 fans’ most prevalent requests.

Voice Chat Is Still Absent From Battlefield 2042

Fans demand that a voice chat feature be added in Battlefield 2042.

This feature has been absent since the launch of the game. So far, EA and DICE have addressed this concern but ultimately did not outline any timeframe for a solution.

In fact, the developer called voice chat and other features like the Scoreboard legacy features.

EA stated all these legacy features are big topics to cover all at once. Clearly, the developer plans to address this situation, but it might take some time to see a resolution.

Gamers are tired of waiting and constantly demand a voice chat in Battlefield 2042.

This demand makes complete sense, considering you can only voice chat with friends, leaving zero tactical advantage and cooperation if matched with random players.

Players Compare Battlefield 2042 With Battlefield V

The situation with Battlefield 2042 is pretty unique. Battlefield V launched many years ago, and the game launched with all the features players are demanding, like a Scoreboard and voice chat.

This particular situation has led to players stating they feel Battlefield 2042 should be free-to-play.

Even after major leaks like the first image of the upcoming Exposure map, the hype for the game continues to decline.

Recently, EA and DICE launched a limited-time 64 player mode for the Holidays to keep players engaged. Gamers now want this 64 player mode to be a permanent addition.

Although, players want more than engagement. At this point, gamers demand fixes and the return of missing features.

Certainly, there is a lot of work still needed to bring Battlefield 2042 to the franchise’s standards.

I don't want to have play with toxic, racist, loud, harrassing and explicit 'chat' like all other shooters. If I wanted to play COD, I'd play COD.

@Major, Oh look another 16-25 year old with the mentality of a crybaby 6 year old, who thinks that being offended is the worse they will have to experience in real life. Go cry somewhere else and let the grownups have some fun without you ruining it for once, go dye your hair blue or something.
