Battlefield 2042 Hazard Zone Solves Huge Specialists Problem

It appears that Hazard Zone has fixed one of the biggest problems with the much-hated Specialists system in Battlefield 2042.

Battlefield 2042 isn’t even out yet, but there is still plenty of negativity surrounding the game. Some gamers had fun with the Beta, but there is definitely a vocal group of Battlefield fans who have a lot of problems with the game.

One of the biggest problems that long-time Battlefield fans have was the removal of classes. Instead, 2042 has a new Specialists system, but this has brought a lot of criticism.

Some players even hate it so much that they’ve made a plan of how to fix Battlefield 2042 Specialists.

While it seems unlikely that all of these changes will come to the game, we now know at least one will. The Battlefield 2042 Hazard Zone reveal trailer shows a small, but very significant change to Specialists.

Battlefield fans have hated the Specialists system ever since it was announced. However, the Beta for 2042 revealed a load of new problems with Specialists.

Probably the biggest problem with Specialists in Battlefield 2042 was that you couldn’t tell who was enemy or friendly.

In previous Battlefield games, different sides would have different color uniforms, but this was not the case in the 2042 Beta. This made it very difficult to tell whether you were shooting a friend or a foe.

However, some eagle-eyed Battlefield fans have noticed something which will fix this in the reveal images for Battlefield Hazard Zone.

The images show that friendly Specialists will have blue accents on their uniforms. This could be a bandana, shoulder pads, or even a rope on a backpack.

This is just a small change but will make a huge difference with target acquisition. Plus, we can assume that enemy players will have a different color accent on their uniforms too.

This is a step in the right direction to make sure that Specialists work well in Battlefield 2042. However, fans would like to see even more changes to the system.

DICE has already confirmed loads of improvements for the Battlefield launch build. Therefore, don’t be surprised to see some more change to Specialists in Battlefield 2042 and Hazard Zone too.

Despite the improvements, not everyone is happy. Many fans want another Battlefield 2042 delay.
