Battlefield 2042 Fans Think DICE Can’t Save the Game

Battlefield 2042 has people debating left and right, with most fans doubting DICE and their vision for the game.

EA was quick to release some of the best cinematic trailers, coupled with incredible gameplay trailers as well for Battlefield 2042 last year.

However, it’s safe to say that the game did not live up to the fans’ expectations. Ergo, Battlefield 2042 fans are openly mocking EA’s “Legacy Features.”

With the player base steadily going down, many in the community are wondering if Battlefield 2042 is even worth saving.

Battlefield 2042 Not Worth Saving, Say Fans

While Battlefield is no longer the primary FPS franchise under EA’s belt, it appears the fans are now questioning if there’s any hope for Battlefield 2042.

Reddit user ‘Ok_Distribution31‘ took to Battlefield 2042’s subreddit to express what the majority of the community is also feeling.

The player stated that Battlefield 2042 is not worth saving as a game. Despite EA and DICE paying attention to the outrage surrounding the latest title, and deploying patches to fix the game, somehow it leads to even bigger issues.

Further, the user also doubts DICE’s capabilities as developers, seeing how they had to delay the scoreboard for Battlefield 2042 and couldn’t add a functioning gun skin.

A few replied to the post, also suggesting to save the franchise and ditch the game. They also pointed towards the fact that the DICE team that produced the classic titles in the series doesn’t exist anymore, making the game’s redemption harder.

In other news, players are reporting that Battlefield 2042 servers are filled with bots. Looks like no one wants to play a game riddled with bugs.

On top of this, successful users are sharing advice on how to get a refund for Battlefield 2042. If you’re one of those who doesn’t believe this game will go anywhere, maybe it’s time to get your money back.

Finally, fans are also demanding the removal of Specialists from the Battlefield series. But according to a leak, Battlefield 2042 Specialists are here to stay.

Battlefield 2042 runs AMAZING right now and I can't believe you keep trying to keep people from playing it. I can't even get on call of duty warzone without the game having a seizure. BF2042 is good enough to be game of the year.

If you can't come up with content without relying on Reddit, you as a company and a website need to shift gears and go do something else. Every other post is based on what someone said on Reddit.

all in all this game isnt to bad in itself, its just not your typical battlefield game; most of the outrage is a disparagement between what one expected and what one was presented; but there are serious problems and legitimate critisism that do make the case for full refunds of the game; i mean no voice chat lmao; how can it be claimed this is a finished game; without voice chat?and no content till 8 months after release; that a massive middle finger to everyone who bought gold/ultimate editions; its clear there was no intention of releasing; its clear they are not even made yet; they sold it on false pretences for sure! but yeah this game is beyond saving; the devs and fans are kidding themselves; no way are they going to bring back the number; they will make it free-to-play anothe f-you to those who paid. the next battlefield will be a total flop too, i mean no ones gonna buy it; they have to turn the franchise over to another developer ASAP
