Battlefield 2042 Players Have Huge Issues With Aim Assist on PlayStation & Xbox

The list of Battlefield 2042 problems seems to be growing by the minute. Players are having all kinds of problems from extremely low FPS in Battlefield 2042 to having complaints about the terrible audio and sound design.

However, the problems players are having with aim assist in Battlefield 2042 could be even worse.

Battlefield fans on the game’s subreddit have been complaining about the feature that should help players hit their shots. Many claim that the aim assist is actually making it more difficult to be accurate, especially at long ranges.

This may not be a problem if they were using the best Battlefield 2042 controller settings for PlayStation & Xbox though.

Redditor u/nemesis_464 says that the aim assist seems to be dragging his crosshairs away from opponents. Hundreds of other Battlefield players agree too.

This problem was common in the Beta and clearly wasn’t one of the many improvements DICE made to Battlefield 2042 before launch.

Let’s hope that developer DICE adjusts the aim assist in Battlefield 2042 in a future update. The best time for this could be on the Battlefield 2042 release date, as the game is still in an early access period right now.

Until then, it could be a good idea to experiment with different levels of aim assist. One player claims that turning down the Soldier Aim Assist to 50 may actually improve it, so why not give that a go?

It's alot easier to use keyboard and mouse. But I actually prefer console to my PC. Games are often more optimized except for Cyberpunk lol.
