Throughout the last 5 seasons in Fortnite Battle Royale, there have been a number of exclusive skins and items. Many, obtainable through either the Season pass or v-bucks in the store. But as in most games, there often are a few exclusive skins, of which can be obtained only through specific methods. Epic Games have followed this trend and provided us with unique and exclusive skins for Fortnite Twitch Prime members and even for all PS Plus members. The Fortnite Twitch Prime Pack 3 contents have allegedly already been leaked.
For those of us that were already part of these memberships, the skins served as an added bonus. But some players within the community went out and signed up to these monthly services simply to receive the skins. On the whole, a lot of players would not go to this length and was more adopted by those “completionists” and/or avid collectors.
Every few months or so we seem to see more exclusive packs added and it appears that the next Fortnite Twitch Prime pack 3 details and content has been revealed, albeit unofficially.
What is Twitch Prime?
Firstly, for those of you who may not know, Twitch Prime is a monthly subscription service part of the Twitch streaming Platform. Included in this membership you receive 1 “free” subscription token which allows you to subscribe each month to any Twitch Streamer of your choosing. The other incentives to join Twitch Prime include free monthly games and also free exclusive in-game loot, skins and packs. These occur across a wide range of the most popular of titles.
Twitch Prime, is also linked to those with an Amazon Prime account. Some people still do not know about this, but yes, if you are an Amazon Prime member, you can also activate Twitch Prime for free. Therefore also gaining the perks include and most importantly the Fortnite exclusive rewards.
In the past we have has two special Fortnite packs available for all Twitch Prime members who play Fortnite. This has included items and content such as the trailblazer skin, Stealth Glider, Freestylin dance, and a couple of pickaxes and much more.
Information has recently become available, suggesting as to what the new Twitch Prime pack 3 exclusive content will be.
New Fortnite Twitch Prime Pack 3 Contents
According to details revealed by meticulous Fortnite “Leaker” @Fortrisen, we have already been shown what will be included within the Fortnite Twitch Prime pack 3. If we cast our minds back to the v5.1 patch notes published by Epic Games on July 24th 2018, a new selection of skins and cosmetic items were added.
Although many of these were super cool and unique in design, the one which caught the attention of @Fortrisen, was The Modern Military Set.
There were a few indicators which suggested that this would be the next Fortnite Twitch Prime pack, coming sometime in August. The first factor was a digital-camo design on the trousers and back-bling. This fits perfectly with the other two Fortnite Twitch Prime packs and is even an identical design to that found on the Sub Commander skin and the slipstream glider. These, of course, were both parts of the very first pack. Another indicator was that the skins, pick and glider as part of this set, did not seem to fit in the Season 5 theme, or with any other current sets as part of Season 5.
The main skin in the proposed Fortnite Twitch Prime pack 3, is called the Archetype and is almost akin to a cyborg or Android-infused humanoid. We then have the digital-camo back bling, complete with aerial. This is known as the Paradigm. The glider seen in the above image is called the Servo, which, to me, looks almost like a reskinned Intrepid glider. Just with added propellors. But nonetheless, still pretty cool for a freebie. And finally we have the Caliper pickaxe, aptly named based on its design and resemblance to a Caliper used by rock climbers.
That is the rundown on the details and information we, as a community, currently have. One thing to be noted is that although the information available seems obvious and irrefutable, this is all yet to be officially confirmed by Epic Games.
