Fortnite Week 7 Challenges Guide – Leaked Early (Season 4)

Fortnite week 7 challenges

Every week in Fortnite there are a number of challenges to complete. These, however, are only accessible to Fortnite Season 4 battle pass holders. We are now over halfway through Season 4 within Fortnite Battle Royale and only hours away from week 7 out of 10 arriving on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac. Despite Fortnite week 7 not officially here, the challenges have already been leaked thanks to Aeon Lucid from Fortnite Tracker. This source has been accurate through all the previous weeks and the information below is all found from within the in-game assets and files. For this reason, we can assume them to be accurate although wording may vary a little and details are subject to change at Epic’s discretion.

Fortnite Week 7 Season 4 Challenges and Details

Deal damage with a pickaxe to opponents (5 Stars)

Possibly one of the more challenging yet fun this week. Given that a pickaxe hit deals only 10 damage to players you will need to hit enemies 25 times in total in order to deal the 250 damage required. This week we will see an increase in pickaxe battles when players first land. So for that reason, we would recommend getting this challenge completed early. Then you may have easy pickings on all others who are running around weapon free, resulting in free early game kills. A tip completing this would be to jump into duos or squads and then when you “knock” an enemy down, go to town on his crawling body with your pickaxe. Simple yet probably the most effective method to complete this and earn yourself an easy 5 battle stars.

Search chests in Risky Reels (5 Stars)

Another simple challenge for players who know the map well. Although Risky Reels was a new addition for Season 4, most players will be confident in the chest locations for this Fornite Week 7 challenge. But for those who are either new or a little less familiar with this location and chest spawns, here are a few to get you started.
– Two can possibly spawn in the East building with the long benches in.
– One may spawn on the back of a truck on the edge of the crater (assuming it is still there and not fully filled in yet).
– Another spawn location is just under the back of the southern screen. This is easy to find as it has a massive hole in it. This was caused by a meteor hitting it as shown in the Season 4 trailer.
– Other chests can be found in the West and North building. If you are lucky you can collect all 7 chests needed in one playthrough, but of course, this can be completed over multiple games if needed.

Consume foraged items (5 Stars)

In order to complete this challenge, you need to simply eat 20 foraged items. Foraged Items will include either the red health apples or the blue shield mushrooms. Found randomly around the map, a good way to farm this would be to land in Wailing Woods as this has a huge amount of blue shield mushroom spawn locations. You could even walk there after landing in Risky Reels to work on 2 Fortnite Week 7 challenges in one go.

Score a goal on different pitches (5 Stars)

Last week we saw a new area added just East of Junk Junction. This new location features a massive football stadium we assume in homage to the upcoming World Cup. For this Fortnite Week 7 challenge, you will need to enter the stadium and score a goal by kicking the central ball into the goal either end. Upon completion, fireworks will trigger to signify a goal has been scored. Then you will need to travel to the football pitch in Pleasant Park and also the indoor area that is West of Snobby Shores/East of Tilted Towers. Continue to score a goal in each of these locations to complete this Fortnite Week 7 challenge (3 needed in total).

Follow the treasure map found….? (10 Stars)

Unfortunately, the location for this has not yet been found. Although rigorous data-mining has been done, the exact spot which has the treasure map has not been found. But treasure hunts are always fun so let us know either in the comments below or on our Twitter when you find this Star.

Assault Rifle Eliminations (10 Stars)

Only 5 Assault Rifle eliminations are needed in order to earn 10 battle stars and complete this challenge. This seems somewhat easy as good players get this in one game alone. But this is a fun challenge that most will complete just by playing, without any special efforts required. The weapons needed to complete include the normal assault rifle, the burst fire assault rifle, the new Famas style burst rifle, and The Scar. The marksman rifle may also count toward this as it is an AR/Sniper hybrid but cannot confirm until the Fortnite Week 7 challenges officially drop.

Eliminate Opponents in Shifty Shafts (10 Stars)

Every week we have a “kill in a certain location” challenge. There is nothing too complicated about this, just land or travel to Shifty Shafts on the map and let fire. Only 3 kills are needed to complete this challenge. Some may even be able to do this in one game if they are quick to land and grab a decent weapon.

Of course, those who do not own a battle pass are still able to fully enjoy the game and will receive daily challenges. These daily challenges, with regular play, will go a long way to gaining tiers, levels, battle stars, and XP. All are essential in earning skins, pick-axes, dances and even v-bucks which is the in-game currency of Fortnite. Another positive, is that you can complete past weeks challenges at any time, so now is as good a time as any to grab a battle pass and join in the fun.
