The Fortnite Battle Royale Week 5 challenges have been leaked. Thankfully, the challenges don’t seem to be as hard as Week 4. They all seem pretty do-able for the more experienced players amongst us.
Fortnite Week 5 Challenges
The first one is the classic ‘Deal Damage with SMG to Opponents – 500’. This one shouldn’t be too hard to do as they’re usually a popular chest item. The deal damage challenges are probably the easiest to without even realising it.
The second challenge ‘Search Chests in Dusty Divots’ may be a little harder. With the recent addition of Dusty Divots to the Battle Royale map it has been a very popular landing place. However, you might get lucky with the Battle Bus route and make it to the Divots to search seven chests without any problems.
‘Use a Jetpack’ is the next challenge for Week 5. Evidently this is referencing the new LTM which was launched recently. This LTM saw the addition of jetpacks to the game. They enable users to fly above their opponents in order to get the kills. This one shouldn’t be too hard – so long as you play the LTM.
The next one is slightly confusing – ‘Use Gravity Stones – 7’. Does this mean that Epic Games have changed the name of the ‘Hop Rocks’ to Gravity Stones? Or will there be a new addition to the game that involves these? To be honest, it sounds like the former so this challenge shouldn’t be too hard to do.
This week’s [Hard] challenges include a Follow the Treasure Map challenge, a weapon elimination challenge and an eliminations in a certain location challenge.
The first one is to follow the treasure map found in Greasy Grove. On occasions, these challenges are quite easy… if you know the map well enough. Newer players may not be able to do this one straight away. But, for the experience player this shouldn’t be too hard.
The weapon elimination challenge is for ‘Minigun or Light Machine Gun’ eliminations, and you have to get two of those. This can be really difficult if you’re not a good shot with either of these weapons.
The final challenge is to eliminate opponents in Lucky Landing – 3. This one may be difficult as all the players will want to get this one over with first as the location is rather far out. However, if you’re skilled at close combat and building your way out of battles – you should have no problem with this challenge.
