We cannot be sure if these are the actual challenges coming out, as some of these seem kind of far fetched. All Fortnite Battle Royale week 3 challenges seem to be focused around one location; Wailing Woods. Wailing Woods is the notorious place for all the best campers to hang out, sometimes in the tree tops. So far from what we have seen, these are the Fortnite Battle Royale week 3 challenges.
Fortnite Battle Royale Week 3 Challenges Leaked
Win a match in Wailing Woods (0/1)
Search Chests in Wailing Woods (0/1000)
Pickaxe Eliminations in Wailing Woods (0/7)
Die in the Storm in Wailing Woods (0/5)
Search between a Tree, a Tree and a Tree (Hard) (0/1)
Consume a Chug Jug in Wailing Woods (0/3)
Destroy all trees in Wailing Woods using a Pistol (0/1)
Nothing has been made official or confirmed by Epic Games, the Fortnite developers.
Will Wailing Woods be the key to hitting Tier 100 on the Season 3 Battle Pass?
I’m hoping that some of these challenges that have been leaked are simply a joking gesture because of the struggle to find only 7 chests in Wailing Woods for Week 2. It was extremely difficult to complete this challenge. There are 3 chests that spawn, at most, and if we are lucky. Searching 1,000 chests in Wailing Woods seems a little absurd. Unless there is more that Epic Games is not telling us.
If this leak is true, Reddit User patrickg328_ has worked out how many pistol bullets it would take to clear all the trees in Wailing Woods.
The trees have 600 health, and the pistol does 23 damage as a common, 24 as an uncommon, and 25 as a rare. This means that it takes 27 bullets per tree for common, 25 bullets for an uncommon, and 24 bullets for a rare.
Assume there are 100 trees in Wailing Woods, this means that it takes 2700 light ammo for common, 2500 light ammo for uncommon, and 2400 for rare.
What do you think of the Fortnite Battle Royale Week 3 challenges leaked? Is Wailing Woods going to turn into the new Tilted Towers for the next couple of weeks while people attempt to beat these challenges? Or has someone pulled a well thought out hoax?
