With the upcoming release of the Fortnite Battle Royale Jetpack, Epic Games might also start adding new features to vehicles into the game. Ever since Fortnite Battle Royale has been released back in September 2017 there have been rumours that Epic Games could potentially make vehicles drivable. Find out everything the dataminers have found out so far regarding Fortnite Battle Royale Vehicles below.
Fortnite Battle Royale Vehicles to Be Drivable?
In the recent 3.0.0 patch, there have been a lot of shopping carts added to the game.
At first, this didn’t sound that interesting, but now dataminers found a folder in the fortnite game files called ‘Drivable Vehicle’! This folder contained files like ‘Ride_ShoppingCart’ and numerous other files that hint that players will eventually be able to ride the recently added shopping carts.
We believe that Vehicles in Fortnite BR will be an excellent addition to the game. At the moment whenever we come across any type of vehicle in Fortnite we’ll usually just break it down for the metal. Instead of vehicles just being props we’d like to see the ability to drive them around the map. Fortnite’s biggest competitor, PUBG currently allows players to drive around the map in many types of vehicles. Such as boats, motorbikes, cars and jeeps. Despite PUBG allowing their players to drive, some may argue that driving round in Fortnite wouldn’t fit the style of the game which may be why the developers are reluctant to add this feature into the game. What do you all think, should Fortnite Battle Royale Vehicles be drivable or not?
The New Hoverboard
Epic Games added a new hoverboard to Fortnites PvE mode, this might be a play test for upcoming vehicles in the Battle Royale mode to see if everything works fine and to fix bugs.
