It appears Epic Games haven’t yet patched a major, fundamental exploit within Fortnite Battle Royale. Previously showcased by Ninja’s livestream a few days ago, the glitch has been the main topic in the community since then. With this allowing any player to recieve 3x the amount of Llama loot or 2x chest loot, it can offer a huge competitive advantage within the game.
How to Get 3x Llama Loot
Here’s the video of when Ninja showcased this to his fans and viewers, keep a close eye on exactly how he did it or follow our step-by-step guide below:
- Run up to the Supply Llama.
- Throw down the Shockwave Grenade very close to the Llama.
- Then, with a little extra distance to cover, should be the loot (but this time there should be three times the amount!).

How to Get 2x Chest Loot
Just like the 3x Llama loot exploit, this time you’ll also be using a Shockwave Grenade. Follow the step-by-step guide below or watch the video for a strategy on how to have the oppurtunity to re-open a chest:
- Press yourself up near the chest.
- Throw down a Shockwave Grenade.
- Let yourself smash through the chest.
- And… There should be your additional loot.
If you’re worried about your account being banned from taking advantage of this glitch, then don’t be. In most cases like this it can be seen as a grey area, however in this case it’s a simple mistake on Epic Games’ behalf. So, you can forget about being hesitant and instead just have some fun with your loot advantage over some other players.
Due to this being such a beneficial exploit within the game and typically giving players an advantage regarding their loot, you can bet your bottom dollar that this glitch will be patched very soon. Futhermore, with a variety of top YouTubers and Twitch streamers, such as Ali-A, Ninja and NoahJ456, showcasing this, it’s certainly more than likely that Epic Games are aware of the issue and will be taking action. Whether or not that’ll be with Fortnite Update v5.40 or at a later date is currently unknown.
