The latest installment within the Call of Duty franchise features Treyarch’s take on the Battle Royale genre. Blackout has a variety of features that make it different from any other Battle Royale experience. Its competitive side however, is not much different from other games, if anything; more intense. Thus far, the elite have been battling it out to see who can break the Call of Duty Blackout kill record. It appears that has now been surpassed, quite significantly, as shown in a recent video showcased on Twitter.
Call of Duty Blackout Kill Record Surpassed
The video shows a Call of Duty Blackout player racking up a staggering total of 34 kills on PS4. However, whilst only a few minutes of footage has been showcased on Twitter, fans only get to see a small portion of it, approximately 6 kills.

Prior to this record being broken, the highest amount of Call of Duty Blackout kills beforehand was reportedly 30, which was apparently set towards the end of 2018. Therefore, this player has smashed right past it with an incredible 4 additional eliminations.
Unsurprisingly, this Blackout record was set in a solo vs squads game. This mode typically allows highly-skilled players to rack up more kills anyway. If someone were to get anywhere near 34 kills in just a solo game, it would quite frankly defy belief.
Furthermore, it has taken a matter of several months for this new record to be set. With the annual influx of Christmas Noobs now being several weeks in the past, we don’t see it being beaten anytime soon.

In other news, Blackout is set to receive a host of new changes with patch 1.11 tomorrow. These updates will consist of a new Stash UI for Blackout among several new LTMs.
