Respawn’s new battle royale has taken the world by storm since its release, and it looks as though they will be adding more features in the near future (maybe even as early as Apex Legends update 1.05), as per an exclusive recent leak.
Gaming INTEL has received exclusive information which suggests that superjumping is on its way to Apex Legends. As you can see in the below leaked in-game files, they all revolve around the term ‘superjumping’.
It appears as though Respawn will be releasing the superjump addition alongside ‘wall running’, as per the in-game code “superjumpCanUseAfterWallrun”. This smash-hit battle royale has already had a great reaction among fans, but it seems that Respawn are about to up their game.
NEW INTEL: Wall Running Coming to Apex Legends – LEAK
This leaked superjumping feature could potentially be released as part of the Apex Legends update 1.05, which would also coincide with the Season 1 release. If this was to be the case, then the Apex Legends 1.05 update would be Respawn’s biggest yet.
With these new features set to be released in Apex Legends, this should add a whole new dimension to this battle royale. Wall running and superjumping would completely change players’ game plans and would also provide the chance for some interesting plays.
Without further ado, let’s take a closer look at these leaked in-game files. Some of this code includes the terms superjump max, min and limit which obviously suggests there are restrictions to this feature. “SuperJumpsUsed” was also included, so there is a limit to how many you can perform.
Furthermore, they also include the terms “superjump noise” and “superjump fail” which suggests that you won’t be able to perform this without letting your opponents know about it. The ‘fail’ term indicates that this could be a complex technique.
Could we see both these new features in the next Apex Legends update? They certainly fit Apex’s futuristic gameplay, but do you think they will improve this battle royale?
