Apex Legends Hits 50 Million Players Worldwide

As Respawn’s Apex Legends hits its one month anniversary, it has just been revealed that over 50 million players have played this battle royale worldwide!

Apex Legends has taken over the world of battle royale since its release on February 4th. In a recent tweet by Respawn’s CEO, Vince Zampella, he said: “You have all made this something special and there’s much more to come!”

No doubt the replies to this will probably be about the Season 1 Battle Pass, however, this is a huge achievement for the first month. Furthermore, this is a game that came out of the woodwork and had no hype prior to its release.

With Vince Zampella’s recent tweet, it seems as though Apex Legends may only get better. As per the year 1 roadmap, we already know that Season 1 is being released this month which includes the Battle Pass. As a result of achieving 50 million players in the first month, however, could we expect to see much more?

New Intel: RUMOR: Apex Legends Season 1 Release Date & First New Character Leaked

Apex’s last milestones included 10 million players in only 72 hours of release and 25 million players in just one week. How many are you expecting to see in a years time from now? Respawn have had unrivaled success since February 4th with their new smash-hit BR.

As part of the Season 1 release, we’ll also be getting new weapons, new loot as well as new Legends. With a couple of the interesting character concepts that have arisen on Apex Legends Reddit, a couple of these could be implemented by Respawn this month and would sure take over the game.

What will be released by Respawn in Apex Legends this month?

With this new 50 million Apex Legends milestone, what number do you expect to see next month? We could also see something out of the ordinary released by Respawn Entertainment soon to celebrate this milestone. Could this be an early Season 1 Battle Pass release?
