The title and setting of the next entry to the Assassin’s Creed franchise may have been leaked. According to this photo of the pre-order material from Target, Assassin’s Creed Origins is the next installment from Ubisoft.

Advertised on the Target retail material, the Gold Edition of the title includes a Deluxe Pack and Season Pass. Also included is Access to a Bonus Mission: “Secrets of the First Pyramids” and a special Steelbook. This leak coincides with rumors that the next Assassin’s Creed is a soft reboot for the franchise. Additionally, the rumors of an Ancient Egyptian setting is shown prominently on the pre-order card.

Importantly, we must take this leak with a grain of salt until a formal announcement from the Developers. One major red flag pertaining to the pre-order card is that it’s showcasing Ubisoft‘s old logo. The developer announced about a week ago that it will be updating it’s logo to a more simplistic look.

Origins will reportedly be coming to Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime within the 2017 fiscal year. Furthermore, we are expecting a more specific release date during E3. Still, information on the title has been stagnant with ramblings and nothing concrete. Assassin’s Creed as a Franchise has been on hiatus since 2016.
