Apex Legends Players Hate Kraber Nerf in Season 13

Apex Legends’ latest season brought balance changes to many weapons, but players aren’t happy with Season 13’s Kraber nerf.

The latest season of Apex Legends, titled Saviors, has seen massive changes to the game, with Newcastle joining the Legends roster, as well as balancing and Ranked changes.

And even though Apex Legends’ Season 13 has brought in a new all-time peak for Apex Legends on Steam, some players aren’t happy with one particular change.

Alongside many other Season 13 weapon changes, the Kraber has seen a drastic nerf. Here’s why players aren’t happy with the Kraber’s nerf in Apex Legends Season 13.

Kraber’s Nerf in Season 13 Frustrates Apex Legends Fans

Pre-nerf, the Apex Legends’ Kraber used to be a one-hit kill. However, players are worried that the Kraber is now no longer a viable option.

Respawn Entertainment nerfed the Kraber to deal less damage, alongside dealing less headshot damage too.

One post on the r/ApexLegends subreddit, titled “The Official S13 Kraber Experience“, has become a place for people to share their complaints.

The video, posted by user u/tulkas_tv, shows them playing a match of Apex Legends. Upon hitting enemy squad members with the Kraber, it deals hefty damage but doesn’t knock them down.

Other users posted comments sharing their frustrations with the Kraber nerf in Season 13 of Apex Legends. One user wrote, “They’ve nerfed it beyond proper use, IMO”.

Another user on the same post said “Yeah it’s [complete] garbage now. It should just be floor loot at this point.” While other users did share the sentiment, they also believe the Kraber is still a worthy deterrent and is good enough to cause some enemy players to back off.

While this post is one of the more popular ones regarding the Kraber, there are plenty of posts in the subreddit. Most players are upset with the changes, as its high damage was balanced by slow fire rate and low handling.

Respawn Entertainment has yet to comment on the player feedback. You can find the post from the subreddit below.
