There’s a new Amazon PS5 restock system that’s making its debut today – here’s how to get an invite to buy your console!

It seems that Amazon is finally starting to take action against PS5 scalpers, now a year and 7 months on from release day.

Despite us coming up to 2 years since the original launch of the PS5, the ‘next-gen’ console is still impossible to find. Thankfully, regular restocks are still dropping every week, but each one disappears as quickly as it arrives.

Now, Amazon is taking action to combat resellers, by limiting console sales to one device per account. And customers will need to secure an invite to place their PS5 order.

It’s not just Amazon that’s going live with new stock – here are all the latest PS5 restocks you need to know about!

How to Get an Invite to Amazon PS5 Restock

Now, when Amazon drops PS5 stock, it appears that you’ll need an invite to purchase your console. Those that receive the invitation will have 72 hours to complete their purchase, with the invite coming via email.

In order to get yourself on the mailing list for restock invites, simply head to the Amazon PS5 store page and select ‘Request Invitation’.

“To ensure that as many genuine customers as possible can buy this high-demand item, we sell it by invitation,” Amazon’s website states.

If your request is successful, you’ll get an email when the item is available. However, bear in mind that not all requests will be granted.

It’s also worth noting that GameStop is now dropping PS5 consoles in-store at almost all of its US stores on a regular basis.

And it’s not the only one, with Best Buy also reportedly offering PS5 drops in select locations. Finally, Target now sells the PS5 every day too – if you’re fast enough to check.
