All Wild Pokemon Spawns – 2023 Pokemon GO Lunar New Year Event

The 2023 Pokemon GO Lunar New Year event has introduced plenty of new content to the game, alongside refreshing the wild Pokemon that players can encounter!

The following 11 Pokemon will be spawning more often for the duration from January 19 – 23, during the 2023 Lunar New Year event:

  • Buneary
  • Bunnelby
  • Combee
  • Darumaka
  • Fennekin
  • Flareon
  • Magikarp
  • Magmar
  • Numel
  • Ponyta
  • Slugma

As well as the new wild Pokemon selection, there are plenty of exciting additions in the 2023 Pokemon GO Lunar New Year event. This includes a brand-new 7km Egg and a new selection of Lunar New Year Raid bosses!

Also, after you catch these Pokemon, you will probably want to evolve them or power them up. Here is the fastest way to earn Candy in Pokemon GO so you can do just that!

Refer to the table below to find out the rarity of encountering each of the wild Pokemon, as well as whether you can catch a shiny version. While most of them are common spawns, there are a couple of Pokemon that you’ll have to be lucky to encounter!
