If you’re looking for one of Starfield’s best pieces of armor, look no further than the Starborn Spacesuit. But how do you get your hands on all 10 sets?
Even after completing Starfield for the first time, players are still finding plenty to do in Bethesda’s space RPG.
And if you’re looking to equip yourself with the right gear for exploring the universe(s), the Starborn armor sets are among the best in Starfield.
How to Get Starborn Armor in Starfield
To get the Starborn armor set in Starfield, players must complete the game’s story and start New Game+.
When restarting the game’s story in New Game+ mode, you’ll automatically be wearing the Starborn Spacesuit Astra.
This suit comes with three random perks which will differ for every player. It is always Legendary tier, and even comes with an in-built jump pack!

This Starborn armor is already better than most spacesuits you’ve found in-game previously. But it can get even better still!
By completing the game again and entering another universe in New Game++, you’ll obtain another Starborn armor set. And this can be done a further 8 times!
All Starborn Armor Sets in Starfield
There are 10 different Starborn spacesuits to discover in Starfield. Here’s what each one looks like and how it’s unlocked:
Starborn Spacesuit Astra
- Unlocked in New Game Plus
The first Starborn armor you get your hands on is Spacesuit Astra. This is what you’ll automatically be wearing the first time you enter the Unity and begin New Game+.

Starborn Spacesuit Materia
- Unlocked in New Game Plus 2
When starting New Game++ (AKA New Game Plus 2) and entering another brand-new universe, you’ll find that your suit is slightly changed. Materia is a decent upgrade over Astra, with some minor tweaks to appearance.

But this is just the start of the Starborn armor upgrades.

Starborn Spacesuit Locus

Starborn Spacesuit Tenebris
- Unlocked in New Game Plus 4
Ditching the cloak for a badass suit of armor, the Spacesuit Tenebris is your reward for reaching New Game Plus 4 – that’s a lot of Artifact collecting. But if you can believe it, you’re not even halfway to reaching the final armor.

Starborn Spacesuit Solis

In Starborn Spacesuit Solis, the robe reappears, this time over the black spacesuit. This is, of course, earned in New Game Plus 5, meaning you’ve ventured into a sixth universe including the one you started in.

Starborn Spacesuit Gravitas
- Unlocked in New Game Plus 6
Spacesuit Gravitas, unlocked in New Game Plus 6, is the first Starborn armor in Starfield to surpass 200 in Physical, Energy, and Electromagnetic Resistance. We’re into the big leagues now, and it only took finishing the game six whole times.

Starborn Spacesuit Bellum
- Unlocked in New Game Plus 7
With Starborn Spacesuit Bellum we’re really starting to resemble The Hunter. Does that imply that the other Starborn was on at least his 8th universe?
Because you’ll need to reach New Game Plus 7 to unlock this armor.

Starborn Spacesuit Tempus
- Unlocked in New Game Plus 8
Tempus is the final spacesuit to not feature a cloak, so if you like this look, be sure to stop in New Game Plus 8. However, with just two more universes to go, we doubt you’re stopping here.

Starborn Spacesuit Avitus
- Unlocked in New Game Plus 9
Spacesuit Avitus is a more unique design, with a bronze tone setting it apart from the other Starborn armor sets in Starfield. However, with just one more piece of armor to discover, we imagine very few Starborn will wear it for long.

Starborn Spacesuit Venator
- Unlocked in New Game Plus 10
All your hard work has culminated in this: Starborn Spacesuit Venator. This Starfield armor is quite possibly the best in the game, with 246 Physical, Energy, and Electromagnetic Resistance!
This is the tenth and final Starborn armor in Starfield, and you’ll need to finish the game ten whole times to unlock it.

Thankfully, you can skip the campaign after completing it once, or we shudder to think about how long it would take to unlock it.
