The Pokemon GO Glittering Garden event has added some new limited-time Field Research Tasks to complete.
The rewards for these Field Research Tasks are appropriately event-themed too. They include encounters with Grass-type Pokemon such as Tangela, Roselia, and Petilil.
Spinning a PokeStop during the Glittering Garden event (10 AM local time on August 5 to 8 PM local time on August 8, 2023) in Pokemon GO could give you one of these new limited-time Field Research Tasks.
Glittering Garden Field Research Tasks & Rewards
There are 4 new Field Research Tasks with 10 potential rewards in the Glittering Garden event:
Field Research Task | Potential Rewards |
Catch 10 Grass-Type Pokemon | Tangela Roselia Foongus |
Catch 5 different species of Pokemon | Petilil |
Catch 5 Pokemon | 10 Poke Balls 5 Great Balls 3 Ultra Balls |
Earn 3 Candies Exploring with your Buddy | 25 Venusaur Mega Energy 25 Sceptile Mega Energy 25 Abomasnow Mega Energy |
What’s more, if you are very lucky, you can get the shiny versions of each of these reward Pokemon. Although, there are no boosted shiny odds for reward Pokemon.
This even includes the brand-new shiny Petilil, which made its debut at the start of the Glittering Garden event!

Also, it is worth bearing in mind that even if these Field Research Tasks can only be picked up until 8 PM local time on August 8, 2023, they can be completed at any time.
This means that you can finish any of these Field research Tasks and claim the rewards even after the event is over.
