The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta early access has come to an end, and Activision has already revealed what’s changing in Weekend 2.
If you didn’t get a chance to play the Black Ops 6 Beta this weekend, the good news is that Open Beta is just around the corner.
The Open Beta, which will kick off on September 6 and run through September 9, will offer many COD fans the chance to try out the game for free.
Furthermore, it’s getting some massive changes and fixes based on feedback from the Black Ops 6 Beta’s first weekend.
All Changes in Open Beta
Here’s a list of all announced changes coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 when its Open Beta arrives on September 6:
Level Cap Raised & New Rewards
Although the early access was capped at Level 20, Black Ops 6 players will now be able to reach Level 30 in the Open Beta.
This, of course, means that more content is just around the corner, including new weapons, perks, equipment and more!

It also allows players to unlock the final three Black Ops 6 Beta rewards, which will carry over to the full game on release day.
These rewards include ‘The Truth Lies’ Loading Screen, a ‘Beta Expert’ Animated Calling Card, and the ‘Bug Smasher’ Weapon Blueprint.
Weapon Balancing
One gun may have been dominating Black Ops 6 early access, but it appears that its reign is finally coming to an end, as Treyarch confirms that weapon balancing is underway.
We’re referring, of course, to the massively overpowered Jackal PDW that players will have seen a few too many times littering their kill feeds.

Treyarch is keeping its cards close to the chest regarding which weapons are getting adjusted. But, judging by their prevalence in Beta Weekend 1, we wouldn’t be surprised to see snipers on that list.
Spawn Fixes
It’s a Call of Duty Beta, and that can only mean one thing: the spawns are broken. Thankfully, the game’s developer assures users that spawn fixes are on the way.
Black Ops 6 is the latest in a long line of COD titles to have poor spawns being one of the top complaints in its Beta.

It’s good to hear that spawns are being made a priority ahead of the Open Beta’s launch. However, we’re sure we’ll still be complaining about this feature when launch day rolls around.
Easier Weapon Leveling
Perhaps one of the main reasons that the Jackal PDW was so common in Beta Weekend 1 is that it takes forever to level up a single weapon in Black Ops 6.
Many fans saw the Jackal in Default Class 1 and stuck with it, but this could be changing in Weekend 2.

After all, Treyarch assures users that weapon leveling will be faster in the Open Beta, which should make trying out new builds much easier for all players.
Audio Improvements & Bug Fixes
While we found the Black Ops 6 audio to be better than past Call of Duty Betas, there’s always room for improvement.
So if you were struggling to hear player footsteps or you encountered some issues in Weekend 1, you’ll be glad to hear that Treyarch is already hard at work with audio fixes.

In addition, bug fixes are also coming to the game when it launches again next weekend. As this was the first time that most users got the chance to go hands-on with Black Ops 6, we’re certain more than a few bugs have been discovered by the player base.
But one thing that it seems Treyarch isn’t ready to touch is its new movement system. Personally, we think that Omnimovement could use a slight nerf, or at least some adjustments.
However, it makes sense that the development team wants to let all players experience Omnimovement in its current state before jumping the gun.
