Akimbo weapons have always been a force to be reckoned with in Call of Duty titles, particularly in close-range multiplayer maps. But when the guns are a little over-tuned that’s when things get out of hand.
What akimbo guns lack in range, they make up for in kill power. Up close and personal, they will often beat out any other weapon in the game for TTK.

How to Unlock the X13 Auto
To unlock the X13 Auto in MW2, players need to reach Level 10 with the X12. However, those who played the MW2 Beta may also have a Side Impact Blueprint allowing them to use it right away.
Unfortunately, the Beta Blueprint currently seems to be unable to utilize akimbo.
How to Fix X13 Akimbo Not Working in Modern Warfare 2?
If you find yourself with only one X13 Auto despite choosing the Akimbo Rear Grip, you’ll need to stop using the Side Impact Blueprint.
For some reason, the Beta reward Blueprint breaks the Akimbo attachment, meaning that players can only use one gun in-game.
