Warzone will be getting more ’80s themed content and events in the future!
Warzone Season 3 Reloaded has only just dropped and a new event has arrived with it.
However, players are still looking forward to what Warzone has in store for the future. Luckily, a new interview has given players a hint on what could be coming in future seasons of Warzone.
Upcoming Warzone Events in Season 4 & Beyond
Warzone players are currently enjoying the explosive ’80s Action heroes event which has brought new operators Rambo and John McClane. Additionally, new challenges and loads of new map POIs including the iconic Die Hard building Nakatomi Plaza have arrived too.
However, a new interview with Warzone developers on the PlayStation Blog revealed some exciting news about future Warzone content. Creative Director at Raven Software, Amos Hodge, revealed what players can expect from future Warzone updates and events:
“We’re definitely going to lean into the ‘80s and we’re definitely going to continue making updates. This is one of the first big splashes we’re making, but you can expect continual updates to the map, new content, and ways to play throughout the seasons.”Amos Hodge
It makes sense that more ’80s themed Warzone events and changes would be on the way, as this version of Verdansk is set in 1984. It would also be great to see exciting new Easter Eggs in Warzone like the one which lets players open the Nakatomi Plaza vault to get loads of loot.
Players would also hope for more hidden side quests in Verdansk like finding all of the Rambo POW Dog Tags in the Survival camps around the map.
What classic ’80s characters and events would you like to see in Warzone soon?
Meanwhile, Warzone Season 3 Reloaded has brought a lot of weapons changes, alongside the Action Heroes event including a huge buff to Suppressors. Also, some huge changes have made snipers the meta weapon class in Season 3 Reloaded.
