The 2023 Pokemon GO Halloween event is updating which Pokemon can hatch from 7km Eggs!
One of the additions in the 2023 Pokemon GO Halloween event is a new 7km Egg pool, featuring three rare Pokemon that you won’t be able to find in the wild.
Any 7km Egg you pick up during the 2023 Halloween event in Pokemon GO event (from 10 AM local time on October 19 to 8 PM local time on October 31) will be an event Egg containing one of the following three Pokemon:
- Munchlax
- Riolu
- Galarian Yamask
If you want to hatch all three of these Pokemon, you will need to get more 7km Eggs, as there is currently no other way to catch these Pokemon.
Unlike the other Egg types in Pokemon GO, you can only get 7km Eggs from opening gifts from friends.
There is an equal chance of hatching all of the Pokemon from this 7km Halloween Egg. Plus, the shiny versions of all of the Pokemon are also available to hatch, if you’re lucky!
The table below shows the shiny versions of all three Pokemon you can hatch from this 7km Egg:

The odds of hatching shiny Pokemon from these event 7km Eggs are 1 in 64. This means that, on average, you’ll have to hatch around 64 of these Eggs before getting a shiny Pokemon.
