Over on Terminus Island, there are three easy tricks you should know to help get you some free Perks in Black Ops 6 Zombies!
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has one of the best launch day offerings we’ve seen a Zombies mode get in recent years.
With both Terminus and Liberty Falls to explore (and a brand-new map coming in Season 1 Reloaded), players have been spending the last few weeks discovering all the secrets that the Zombies maps have to offer.
And now we have multiple methods to help you unlock free Perks on every game you play on Terminus!
How to Get All Free Perks on Terminus
There are three quick and easy methods that will help you get free Perk drops every single time you play Terminus in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
These methods are all simple and work every time you drop into Terminus Island. You can choose to do all three in a game, or just pick your favorites to save yourself some hard-earned Essence:
Caged Zombies Easter Egg
The easiest way to get a free Random Perk Power-Up is by killing all the caged zombies in the Bio Lab on three separate rounds.
- First, head to the Bio Lab, where you initially find the Pack-a-Punch machine.
- Over on the northwest side of the room, you’ll see a bunch of cages containing zombies.
- Shoot all the zombies you see and make sure none remain.
- Check to the left and the right of the Bio Lab tanks, as zombies can spawn in any of the cages in this area – and some can be difficult to spot!
- Then, wait until the following round.
- Return to the cages and kill all the new Vermin that have replaced the zombies.
- Wait for one more round.
- Then finally, kill the Mangler who is now trapped in the cages.
- If done successfully, you’ll receive a free Random Perk Power-Up which will grant you one of the game’s Perk Cans!
This trick is so easy to pull off, and it takes place in an area that you’ll be coming back to frequently anyway.
Therefore, you’ll be able to implement it easily in every run of Terminus in Black Ops 6 Zombies!
Spores Easter Egg
Another easy way to get the Random Perk Power-Up for free is to shoot all the yellow spores that appear on the small islands that stick out of the sea.
- Grab a Tactical Raft from the Bio Lab or Docks and head out to sea.
- Find one of the mini islands around the map that is covered in yellow bulbous spores.
- Although the spore placement may change, these glowing targets will always appear on one of the tiny, inaccessible islands – not one of the POI islands that you can explore on foot.
- Switch seats in your Tactical Raft and shoot all 5 spores.
- Every spore you destroy will spawn a Parasite, so be sure not to let yourself get overwhelmed!
- Then wait until the following round.
- In the next round, look for another island that contains the yellow blisters and repeat the process, shooting all 5 spores.
- Try not to spend too long in the Tactical Raft as it will cause the tentacle monster to attack you. If you’re fast enough, you can outrun the monster – or simply head to an island and disembark until the creature despawns.
- Once done, wait until the following round once again.
- Repeat this process one final time, finding the last island and shooting its yellow pustules.
- Then, head into the Sea Caves next to the Bio Lab, where the Speed Cola Perk-a-Cola machine can be found. Shoot the spores which are now littering the walls and floors of the cave.
- This will cause a free random Perk to spawn once again!
Since the Cage Easter Egg and Spores Easter Egg both require players to wait for subsequent rounds, you’ll even be able to pull them off simultaneously!
Therefore, in just a few rounds, you can unlock two free Perk Cans on Terminus every single time you play.
What’s more, this Easter Egg grants bonus rewards, such as Aether Tools and Scorestreaks, which makes it well worth the effort!
Treasure Chests Easter Egg
Finally, another way to get a free Perk on Terminus every time you play Black Ops 6 Zombies is by finding all 10 Treasure Chests under the sea in a single game.
These sea chests are always underwater but they’re easily visible from the surface thanks to their glowing light.
Simply find and interact (Square/X/F) with one of these chests to open it and you’ll often find amazing loot inside, ranging from Salvage, to high-tier weapons, and even Ray Guns if you’re really lucky!
But if you find and locate all 10 Treasure Chests that spawn randomly in the sea around the major islands, Docks, Bio Lab, and Shipwreck, you’ll always receive a free Perk reward for doing so!
Of course, there are other ways to get Perks for free in Black Ops 6, such as using GobbleGums, finding Loot Keys, and completing SAM Trials. But with these three tricks, you’ll be able to get multiple free Perks every single time you hop into Terminus!
