E3 2018 Unannounced Games Leaked

Recently we wrote about games that we are hoping to see at this years E3 2018. However, Twitter user Wario64 tweeted an image which shows unannounced games leaked via the Walmart Canada website. Many of these games are on the list of what we expect to see announced in a couple weeks time.

Potential E3 2018 Unnanounced Games Leaked on Walmart Canada

As you can see in the image taken from Walmart Canada, there are a lot of games mentioned. Popular rumored games such as Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Borderlands 3 feature on this list. Others include Assassins Creed, Super Smash Bros (Switch), and Beyond Good and Evil 2.

The Walmart Canada website differentiates between the games that will be released on the different gaming platforms. As usual, there are some games which are exclusive to a particular console. The Last of Us 2 appears to be Playstation 4 exclusive. Other games show that they are exclusive to Nintendo Switch – Metroid Prime 4 and Super Smash Bros.

Some are questioning the validity of this source considering Assassins Creed is not supposed to be releasing a new game this year. PCGamesN wrote that Ubisoft were hoping for a two-year turnaround on their upcoming games. This means we should not expect to see a new Assassins Creed game until 2019, yet it is still listed. Some users suggested that the listing could be referring to a re-mastered game.

Games Not Listed

However, we mentioned that we hoped to see games such as Kingdom Hearts 3 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Yet these games are not listed on Walmart Canada’s site. Does this mean we won’t see a release of these games? We can still hold out hope.

On the other hand, Battlefield 2018 is not listed on the website either – yet we know that this is a definite confirmed game. Other games that are confirmed, but not listed, include Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and The Division 2. Therefore, we should definitely hold out hope that some of the games we’re most looking forward to will still be revealed come E3 2018.

It could be the case that many game developers are really keeping the games under-wraps. Or they could just be listed later on. There are many reasons why a game may (or may not) be listed.

Regardless, E3 2018 is only a couple of weeks away. Not long left until we will find out if our favorite game developers will be releasing the games we’re all eagerly waiting for.
